Product Introduction
Gabion cushions, also called Reno mattresses, are of net cage structure with thickness of 0.15-0.3m (including 0.3m). The gabion cushions are divided into several units by clapboards. To improve the strength of gabion cushions, all the edges of the face plates adopt steel wire with larger diameter. It is mainly applied as slope protection structure of rivers, banks and roads. It can prevent river banks from water and wave invasion and damage, and achieve natural convection and exchange between water and earth under the slope, reaching ecological balance and greening effect when planting on slopes.
One big advantage of the reno mattresses is their flexibility. The hexagonal metal net facilitates the structure a high flexibility in all directions without breaking; it is a very important feature for buildings on or in water. Here the foundation is often less stable and there can be a high strain to the structure. All forces which emerge from pressure, thrust and tension effect on the stone-filled boxed boxes made of hexagonal wire nets. Reno mattresses are mostly used at river or shores as well as below and above the mid waterline. Overflowing dike tops and also taper bridge abutment and supply lines below the river bed, reno mattresses offer protection at different places.
